Emergencies

If you are calling during business hours it is often possible to speak directly with Mr. Jones who can answer your questions. Many legal matters can be handled the same day or within twenty-four hours.

However, you should be aware that some legal matters require the intervention of a judge who does not work evenings or on weekends. As a result, paperwork can often be prepared on an emergency basis, but must wait until regular business hours before it can be submitted. If the matter requires a hearing before the Judge can sign your papers it may take even longer.
